Ann
We are pleased to introduce to you Ann Toews-Cheng. Ann came to our daycare in April 2010. She came with such a great attitude, not only towards the children, but also the other caregivers. She is a delight to have on our team. She always has a smile on her face. It is obvious that the children love her and she loves the children. Ann has been working in our Pre-school group, taking a group of children ages 3 to 5.  Ann's own introduction: My name is Ann Hui-Wen Toews-Cheng. The motivation for me to move to Whitehorse was to see the northern lights and experience what “severe” cold is like. I have been working in the childcare field over 16 years both in Taiwan and Canada. In 2006, I obtained ECD Certificate and BC ECD Educator license to practice and have worked in Vancouver for several years. Also, I continue my career working with children when I came to Whitehorse in 2009. Currently, I am a level 3 certified childcare worker. The reason that I chose to work at the Nazarene Daycare because it is a non-profit Christian daycare and this is the workplace that I always want to be. After working over a year here, I would like to work here until I am 65 because of the lovely children, great team, supportive supervisor, and ample space. |
