Meet our Team!

At the Church of the Nazarene Daycare we believe our caregivers are very special people.  In the Yukon caregivers who are certified are in extremely high demand.  Those with a level 2 or a level 3 have opportunities to choose just about any daycare they wish to work in.  It is for this reason that we count it a privilege to have the team that we do.  Every one of our caregivers could have chosen to work somewhere else but deliberately chose to work in our setting.  Most have turned down slightly better paying jobs elsewhere.  Why would they do that?  You'll need to ask them that yourself, but we believe it has a lot to do with the atmosphere we want to create and the values that we hold.  If you are interested in being a part of our team, please check Join Our Team!

Volunteers: Shirley & May, two very special people who give of themselves.  Shirley comes in and works in our kitchen 3 days a week, cooking morning snack, hot lunches, and an afternoon snack.  She enjoys baking and making home made meals for the kids.  May comes in usually 2 days a week and helps clean up in the kitchen when the caregivers are busy working with the kids.  We applaud both of these women.

Former Long Service Award caregivers (the backbone of our daycare in years past).  These are people who have worked 10 years or more.
